Who Is Dr. G?

My name is Grant Reed, and I am a retired scientist and patent attorney.

I have a B.S. degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. degree in pharmacology.

My graduate school research was in pharmacology, biochemistry and molecular biology.

I think pharmacology is fascinating, because it is about how medicines work, and thus it involves all of the life sciences, such as biology, molecular biology, chemistry, physiology, biochemistry, genetics and microbiology.

I enjoy teaching pharmacology to students in college, graduate school, dental school and technical school. Examples of students I teach include students of nursing, dentistry, respiratory therapy, radiation technology, physical therapy, medical technology and other allied health sciences.

I do tutoring via Zoom, an dcan help you better understand pharmacology vocabulary, drug names, drug classes, therapeutic drug effects, drug side effects and drug mechanisms of action.

Please contact me if you would like to receive tutoring.
